Vegan Inspiration Quotes

I just love quotes, and even here on my website where I share product reviews, recipes, and tips for newbie vegans, I couldn’t pass up on sharing some great vegan inspiration quotes.

Quotes have a way of conveying an important message without having to elaborate on it in a long essay. They are straight to the point, the way I love it. They are also useful when you just turned vegan and friends and family are giving you a hard time. Some quotes just say it all.

Amazon book review on Indefensible: “I hesitated on reading this because I thought it might be redundant on a subject which I know well, or unbearably painful. But the author tempers his rage with dark humor that illuminates rather than diminishes the horrors of factory farming. One of the rare books that might actually change minds rather than preach to the choir.”

  1. Hi Christine

I’m loving the quotes AND terrible jokes! I recently got a book called ‘How Not To Die – The Cookbook’ as I am planning living a really good life until I am 110 and my current diet (pescitarian with a lot of quorn and too much dairy) probably isn’t going to cut it! I have stuggled a bit with a total plant-based diet before but I am ready to give it another go.

Many of the ingredients (e.g. black beans, miso paste, nutritional yeast) are not available locally but I guess that’s what Amazon’s for!

Looking forward to checking out more of your posts.

    Best,

    Jean

    • Hi Jean,

Yes, Amazon can be a lifesaver when those ingredients are not available locally. A few days ago I ordered some vegan Parmesan on Amazon 🙂
How not to Die is a very good book that has received glowing 5 stars reviews. You made a good choice 🙂

  2. Hi Christine,

I LOVED this post! This is filled with great quotes that will hopefully spark interest in a few readers to try some vegan eating.

The funny puns are my favorite though. I follow an account on Instagram called Vegan Sarcasm that shares some pretty funny stuff as well!

I’m looking forward to your recipe for next week! 🙂

  3. Very interesting post, so cool and relaxing! I really enjoyed reading and I especially liked the quote “A man of my spiritual intensity does not eat corpses.” So true! It has even been scientifically proven that people who shed meat are more spiritual. By expelling meat, toxins are expelled, the body and spirit are cleansed. So I find being vegan very useful but not easy. I don’t know vegans, but I know people who fast several times a year mostly for religious reasons, so they don’t eat meat but they’re not very raw vegans. Their comment is that they feel much better. What about people who are really vegan! Man was not created to be a carnivore anyway, but a herbivore. So full support for vegans! I expect even more interesting posts like this. Greetings, Danijela

  4. Hi Christine,

Great post about inspiring vegan quotes! While I’m not personally a vegan, I do eat some vegan foods and use some vegan products. I’ve considered going vegan before but am not sure I possess the self control and willpower to give up some of my favorite foods.

I think my favorite of your quotes here is,
    ““Spread hummus, not hate.””

Largely because it is funny but also doesn’t necessarily focus around veganism so much as just being positive all around. Plus hummus is great.

    Thanks for the post!

  5. Hi Christine,

What a lovely article with vegan quotes and those funny ones just made my day! My favorite is the “lettuce know” oh my god, how creative it is! It’s also true that if we think vegan is difficult, maybe we could imagine we were factory-farmed animals, which will help us grow compassion and try being vegan one day per week as a start.

Thanks for sharing today! I cannot wait for more recipes or quotes from your next updates.

    Matt
